The Cell on the sheet

The gesture

Press Open a Cell → findings, choose Press reader, and press Open the Cell.

So far

Step 2 reached: One record, #17: your question, in your words. The card shows 1 of 2 reached — the question is in, the findings that will answer it are not.

Why now

The reading will be done by a language model, and a model's work should be fenced and judged. A Cell is that fence: a small working space with a written purpose — its charter — a budget, a fixed list of what it may hear, and one exit: a result that counts only once you accept it.

What it reached

30 records: a charter proposed and defined (#31, #32); the Cell seeded and opened (#36, #37) with a budget of twelve model calls; the way back for its result declared (#43); your question and the release placed inside it (#44, #46); and the Cell pinned to the sheet (#47). No model has read anything yet.

The new Cell on the Sheet: Press reader, running; it holds the question marked you and the release marked the world; the ask slot is empty and the gold button Ask the world is offered.
The Cell on the Sheet: two of its three slots are filled; ask is yours to give.
  1. What it hears. Three slots and no more: a question, material, and your word to go. 2 of 3 reached.
  2. the world · material. The release, placed inside the Cell as a fresh record that points back to your original sentence, #2.
  3. Ask the world → ask.given — the third slot. The Cell does nothing until you give it.
